When pundits began predicting that Space Tourism would be the next big thing, I merely chuckled. When Sir Richard Branson launched Virgin Galactic, I immediately stopped. I never bet against Branson.
Now comes news that a British businessman will be cashing in his 2 million frequent flier miles for one of the first flights of Branson's new fleet of spacecraft.
No word on whether he gets his first choice of dates...
Some bits and bites that are too brief for the Zeitgeist Z-news (which is why I'm launching the Zeitgeist blog)....
One of the reasons I love to present at conferences around the world is that I get to hear other talking heads suggest cool concepts. That happened at Dave Serino's e-Marketing Insight Summit a few weeks ago in Chicago.
And, as I listened to Jim Rudney, I had one of those "doah" moments. As more and more of us consume our web content via PDAs and mobile phones, we will not be able to view the graphics embedded in our e-mail and websites.
Thus, on the top of our "To Do" lists: Develop a parallel website that is all text...and offer that link at the top of each page.
It all comes down to providing our data/info in as many different ways as consumers are consuming all this content. And a growing number are doing it with handhelds.
Of course, others are consuming their online content through blogs. Thus...here we are. And, we hope you enjoy the ride.
