Disneyland is shutting down the "It's a Small World After All" Ride.
Sadly...it's only for ten months.
Even more sadly, it's because they need to deeper the canals because fatter-than-ever riders are causing the boats to bottom out and get snagged, snarling the system. Apparently, Americans average 25 pounds heavier than they did when the ride was first devised in the early 60s.
As Wired said, "It's a Fat World After All."
