In addition to last week's way cool guerrilla marketing tactics by Brad Dean and the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber/Bureau at the Republican Presidential Debates (and they're going to do it again next Monday), TIA launched a industry visibility campaign along the Grand Strand.
"Changing the Debate" featured billboards throughout Myrtle Beach proclaiming "South Carolina Wants a President Who Will Stand Up For Travel. What's Your Plan?"
It's never really been on the agenda. At least since Eisenhower. And it so needs to be.
Especially since one of the front runners has a history of slashing State spending for Tourism Promotion and Development.
