But all three gubernatorial candidates told an SRO room in Hartford yesterday that the State has been shortsighted in its gutting of the Tourism budget. Dan Malloy repeated his pledge from last summer to invest $15 million, if elected. Another candidate, like in a bad auction, countered with $15 and a quarter million.
One thing seems likely (unless the Legislature hasn't learned its lesson). Connecticut's Tourism Budget will be greater than $1 next year. By how much more...we'll just wait and see.
