Over time, our culture shifted so that "smoking hot" was no longer a qualification for employment. And, being plain and overweight wasn't a disqualifier.
Indian airline Go believes it has found a workaround.
Small women weigh less than large women and men. Less weight onboard means less fuel burned...which means less cost.
Which means that from here on out, Go will only hire small women. And save $5 million a year doing it.
Though it makes perfect sense, I'm guessing American airlines will be loath to follow through.
And not because of any other reason than the savage backlash they'll receive from the media. Profits be damned.
