When flying into Columbus OH, one cannot escape the surround-sound like barrage of the Columbus logo. It's on virtually every in-airport advertisement, a cooperative venture with a gaggle of local corporations. For Destination Marketing pros, it's a stunning display of community cohesion, muscle and pride.
But, one has to chuckle at the complete and utter execution of the brand that it has found its way onto the licensing tag on gas station pumps (click picture to enlarge).
That's complete brand dominance, right there!
Now that is proper brand positioning for visibility!
