Remember when John Dean raised eyebrows everywhere with how successful he was early in the last Presidential campaign by using viral internet marketing to spread his message (and raise millions of dollars)?
Why am I then not surprised that YouTube will be the next battleground for the minds of voters?
Don't believe it? Mainstream media has been focusing on last Thursday's announcement by John Edwards that he was entering the race for the Presidency (like they had some kind of scoop or something).
He really announced last Wednesday via an e-mail to his e-database...and on a video posted on YouTube.
Like Dean before him, Edwards gets the new media. It should be a fun ride watching him work it.
Happy New Year, Bill
Agree. This is how it'll happen.
My guess, somewhere in your interesting post the word "not" is missing, right?
Look forward to a steady dose of "Zeitgeist" in '07.
