One of my favorite Herman Cain riffs is his story about, when managing a Burger King restaurant, exhorting his employees to SIN (Solve It Now).
As I sadly shake my head at the story that surfaced last week about two more Denver-bound flights being diverted to a third-tier airport and then stranding passengers as the planes departed for their next stop empty...I'm duly impressed with the SIN-mentality of an agent at the Western Nebraska Regional Airport in Scottsbluff.
Only, it wasn't the American or United agents that solved the stranded passengers' dilemma. It was the manager of the Hertz operation who took it upon herself to charter a motorcoach from a local bus company to take the passengers she couldn't outfit with rental cars to Denver.
Jessica Ryks...you rock, girl.
But, isn't it sad that I'm so impressed.
Yes, a sad state of affairs that we marvel at what should be expected as common sense service and commitment. We need many more SINners in this world. I found many more in Asia, by the way!
