Must have been a nightmare! I don't have anything positive to say about ANY of the airlines. I read a blog posting today of someone who actually did.

Interesting post, Meghann...and thanks for sharing it. I (as many of us) am often guilty of singling out the bad and failing to honor the good. But, I guess that's because I expect good. Everyone around me expects good from me. Why should I expect less from them? But, the poster is right...there are A LOT of great people working at the airlines that are treated like crap by management and public alike. But, that's no reason to call the cops on a group of people who are being held hostage by a broken management system.

If your son-in-law's mom was on the plane can you pass along my contact information and website? I was on the Continental flight in June from Amsterdam to Newark that lasted 32 hours and had excrement running down the aisles. We are currently putting together a class action suit as Continental refuses to refund us our money. I could offer them some pointers going forward as I learned a lot in the last few months. Thanks!

OMG...you've just jumped to the top of the list. Can it get any worse? Does nobody at Continental realize the PR hit that this creates vs. the simple act of refunding fares and saying (as JetBlue did) we screwed up? We're sorry? Give us another chance?

I've passed your contact info to Susan...and thanks for reaching out.
