Good Luck with That...

Earlier this month, the Village of Worth IL announced that they were pulling out from the Chicago Southland CVB. Citing a lack of ROI from the Bureau, they believe that they can do better.

Ummm, with their $8,400.

Kinda reminds me of the Peter Gabriel lyric: "The place where I come from is a small town. They think so small, they use small words."

Very small.

It's likely someone trying to beef up their own job description within that Village government in order to save their job. Extremely sad situation. In today's economy you get more working together than trying to be an island off alone.

I used to live in Worth - they need all the help they can get. I guess they think "Worth - the Friendly City" on the water tower is all the marketing they need :)
