Well, technically. That's what color they are when they change the color of your fingers as you pop them in your mouth. But...when they begin their short life?
They are dyed Yellow Number 6...and with food dyes coming under scrutiny, one wonders what the future of these delectable extravagances might be.
Along with their ubber-cool mascot.
Face it. You'll never eat them the same way...knowing they are really gray.

so is the actual cornmeal part underneath the orange dyed with yellow (not just the cheesy stuff that comes off)? i won't believe it till i see it...
