My "children", both graduates of Madison LaFollette High School and The University of Wisconsin - Madison, "write" using printed letters, somewhat like a typewriter. Cursive's been gone from the young generation for a long time.

My sixth grade teacher gave us a choice - either print or write cursive. Which ever you do, do only that all year. So I picked printing and to this day the only thing I can write is my signature. And my staff would say that I can't even do that!

And I turned out OK. Well . . .
