As I noted last week...I'm discovering a bunch of artists that don't get much play in America by switching from satellite to internet radio.
While she's toured America, played with Prince and Dave Matthews and actually had a number one hit on the American Jazz Charts, I have a feeling that the name Candy Dulfer isn't exactly household. Or, maybe I'm just not paying attention like I used to.
She and her band smoke this cover of the Average White Band's "Pick Up the Pieces"...perfect for this Music Friday.
Candy Dulfer is also very prominently featured on Van Morrison's Live in San Francisco album. She is exquisite!

Where the hell have I been? Oh, wait...I know. Now that I don't buy CDs, I don't read the liner notes.
Thanks for the tip...I'll check it out!
