Last week, we noted that new JC Penny CEO Ron Johnson discovered that his company had sent 590 e-mail sales announcements last year. Yeah...that means some days their subscribers received two.
Radio Shack is also guilty of being slightly over zealous in their e-messages (yet nothing like Pennys)...but, when I finally said "no mas" and attempted to unsubscribe, I got the most refreshing response.
They said, "too much? How 'bout just once a week?"
And, with that amazing insight, they saved another subscriber.
Smart.
