They were one of those bands that had amazing cred from the critics...but just couldn't get the needle to move.
X was one of the most influential bands in the L.A. Punk movement of the '70s and '80s. Their bio is one that leaves most scratching their heads. How the hell did this group not become huge? They were kinda like Green Day...without the ultimate payoff.
But...they're still together. Still playing 35 years later. And, if you're in NYC, Boston, Philly, DC or Baltimore in the next month, they're coming to your town.
"Burning House of Love" was just one of my faves from the great LP called "Ain't Love Grand."
