Just back from Mason City IA, where the region is hosting the "Winter Dance Party" at the legendary Surf Ballroom this weekend. On tap tomorrow night is Gary Bussey and Eric Burdon. Last I heard there were "a few" tickets available to see these two (and others) in the last hall that Buddy Holly played. Go, if you can.
And, then, there's this jem...coming to Madison's High Noon Saloon on Thursday. One of the coolest videos (and, yeah, HTF did they do that?) featuring Erin McKeown doing "Proof."
Oh, yeah...the song kicks ass too.
