Rick Antonson is much more than a DMO pro. While his day job may be heading up Tourism Vancouver, he has written two fabulous books ("To Timbuktu for a Haircut" and "Route 66 Still Kicks"), with plans to write another. He is also a thought leader in the tourism world...and one of a handful of people that I never miss the opportunity to sit in on any educational session in which they riff.
His appearance last autumn at the TED-like "Public Salon" in Vancouver touches ever so slightly on tourism development. It actually perfectly underscores our last commentary in the Z-News.
It's about the concept of "Cathedral Thinking." It's 6 and a half minutes long.
And, yes. You should make the time. Even on a Monday.
Especially on a Monday.
And, if you want more on Cathedral Thinking, you can find it here.
