The changing seasons have obviously (but unconsciously) shifted us into softer Music Friday features over the past few weeks. Time to jack it back.

I love today’s featured track because it plays to that exhilarating/terrifying memory of the clumsy elementary school crushes that spawned those furtive notes across the playground.

Why we ever gave the note's recipient another choice was likely an attempt to protect our fragile pride...although the other answer was still “no.”

We The Kings perfectly captures this childish query while laying it against a decidedly older backdrop...all the while conjuring the image of Romeo & Juliette escaping their parental scorn in this fun romp.
