We are less than 100 days from the 100th Anniversary of commercial air service. And, yet...it still seems to elude airlines how to perform one of the simplest of tasks.
That would be to load the plane with passengers.
Of the myriad of steps required to launch and land a large metal tube with hundred of passengers inside, did it really take United Airlines 99 of those years to figure out that the whole process would go smoother if the hardest to access seats (window) would fill first?
Apparently.
