I cannot believe that I missed Louie. Louie Day.
A personal favorite version of the song is performed by the Rice University Marching Owl Band. (http://ow.ly/vOw2X).
Several years ago, I was given Rhino Records Best of Louie, Louie Volumes I and II for my birthday. I proudly showed my gift to a coworker who stared at the CD's for a long time and commented "Is it really all the same song?"
Thanks for sharing!
