OK...I'm really sorry to do this to you. But, blame my friend Lee Tasseff (CEO of the Mansfield-Richland CVB...and a Music Friday fan).
After last week's Foo Fighter/Jimmy Page link, he did what YouTube wants us to do. He clicked on a suggested link. It took him to a simply killer reunion concert of Led Zeppelin in 2012. He managed (he says) to simply use it as his morning soundtrack. You should try to do the same.
I, however, could not. And, spent the next couple hours riveted to just how tight these guys still are forty years later. And how perfect Robert Plant's vocals still are.
Beware...but be clickin'. Here's the full 2012 reunion concert of Led Zeppelin.
If you fear that you, too, will succumb and lose two hours...just tell yourself that you'll only watch the first three songs.
Yeah...that's what junkies do. LOL.
Happy Weekend!
It all started with his blog last week featuring the Foo Fighters doing "Ramble On" w/John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page. It was a fantastic ride! Bill's right...just try and limit yourself to a few songs. Good luck with that!
