Not trying to traverse too many musical genres on this Music Friday...but Adam Ant was every bit Bad Company's "Shooting Star." Just without the drugs.
In the early '80s, he was omnipresent on MTV (when they actually played music videos) with the monster hit "Goody Two Shoes" and, a few years later with "Strip." And, then...gone.
But, he's out playing gigs again in Britain...and one can only hope he'll return to conquer America once again.
In this three-fer...one of my Ant-faves was always the lyric of "Made of Money." No video here...but, the song always makes me laugh.
If marriages are made in heaven, then what the hell happened to mine, indeed.
Classic 80's camp...nice choice!
