So true!

I have been intrigued and encouraged by some of the Monroe County officials response to early estimates of damage in the Key's. They are pushing back on the notion that "the Key's suffered total decimation.

I'm guessing that this could be related to the power of branding. I suspect those officials understand four things:
- The Key's economy survives on tourism
- The message of "devastation" will impact visits
- The area will be tourist ready quicker than most federal officials estimate
- The best remedy for recovery will be heads in beds ASAP
