Not a name normally associated with a rock band...but the influence Dolores O'Riordan had on the genre was unmistakable. As fellow Cranberries guitarist Noel Hagen told Rolling Stone: "There are songs I hear today that we wrote over 20 years ago, and I see and hear people singing along with them. There are only a few artists who get to have maybe one song they are remembered by. Dolores has so many. It’s a great legacy."
Indeed, Bad Wolves just released a cover of "Zombie," on which Delores was set to appear...but never did.
On this Music Friday we remember and honor her all too short life with one of our faves, "Dreams."
RIP, sweet angel.
