David Hogg, Stoneman Douglas student survivor and activist took to Twitter over the weekend to throw down a challenge to fellow High School and College students:
"Let's make a deal. Do not come to Florida for spring break unless gun legislation is passed. These politicians won't listen to us so maybe they'll listen to the billion-dollar tourism industry in Florida."
On the surface, it's a perfectly logical suggestion. After all, money talks.
Except in Florida, where that State's Legislature has proven time after time that they don't care whatsoever for their Tourism industry...or the hundreds of thousands of residents that derive a paycheck from a robust visitor economy.
Nice try, though.
