More and more, I find myself attracted to covers. Other artists reimagining the originals.
Nothing against the originals...but, it's fun to hear a different interpretation.
On this Music Friday, we trip back to the Holland-Dozier-Holland Motown classic "You Keep Me Hangin' On."
Of course, there is the version from Vannila Fudge. And Rod Stewart. And Kim Wilde.
But today, we're going with 60's chanteuse Mary McCaslin's version.
Sublime.
That is the most hauntingly different version I've ever heard. I'll take it over Kim's version.
