It has been the best of times.
Terri and I have been truly blessed to live on shores of Madison's Lake Mendota for the past five years. It is where we built our bond as partners in life, love and business and where we created great friendships with cool neighbors.
Alas, we bid farewell to our lake this weekend on our way to the next adventure.
So, on this Music Friday, we say farewell with Billy Joel's "I've Loved These Days."
And, if you're already a fan of the original and want a cool, stripped down version, we offer this sublime version by Monica Mancini.
With the exception of the cocaine and the caviar...it rings pretty true.
It's people who make great places. I'm sure it will be great wherever you guys go!
