He was the whirling dervish of '60s and '70s drummers. Bonham played harder. Moon played more frenetic. But it was Ginger Baker that defined the drum solo, well before Iron Butterfly.
Two-thirds of Cream has now, sadly, portaled on. And, on this Music Friday, we look back on Ginger's time in both Cream and Blind Faith (super-groups, they were called).
