Dennis was on it! Early on in my career, I had a board president who told me to "stop hiring over-priced office clerks" when we were looking to replace our office manager. He knew we were frustrated with the candidates were getting, while trying to stay within salary guidelines. Bottom line: Go get the talent you need to be successful. He was right! It paid off, as we got better every year as did our bottom line.
