Originally a hit for the '60's group known as Traffic (Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, Chris Wood and Dave Mason), some say that the song influenced the Stones' "Can't Always Get What you Want."
Composer Dave Mason would go onto a successful solo career that spawned hits such as "We Just Disagree," "Let it Go Let it Flow" and "Only You Know and I Know."
Earlier this week, my friend Cole Carley hipped me to this VID-inspired virtual collaboration between Dave, Sammy Hagar, Michael McDonald, Mick Fleetwood and the Doobie Brothers.
While we aren't feeling all that great...this physically distant rave-up of "Feeling Alright" on this Music Friday feels so right.
You'll be hummin' this all weekend.
Oh Hell, yeah!
