I Can't Let Go

I'm not sure what cosmic forces are in play...but I've been hearing this song a lot lately on internet radio. So clearly, it is destined to be a Music Friday feature.

The hit was by the Hollies, who perfected the harmonies from the original.

Linda Ronstadt covered it, and breathed a sensual growl into it.

But, I still love the layers and vibrancy of the original by Evie Sands...this is "I Can't Let Go."

Sorry (not sorry) that this song will be running through your head all weekend. 'Cause it will.

I have Ronstadt's album it appears on and had no idea it was a remake... Great history lesson!

I always thought it was a Hollies sng until I realized it was Evie's.
